“Prize for the North” at National Open Art Competition

I have some brilliant news to share. At the preview for the National Open Art Competitiion I was awarded the £1000 Prize for the North by the judges! The panel included: Gavin Turk (Chairman), Catherine Lampert, James Stewart and David Barrie.

Absolutely delighted to receive such an award for my piece “Lowson’s Textbook Erosion”. The work will be on show at the Minerva until Saturday 21st November. It will then join other prize winning pieces at Pallant House Gallery. More details to follow soon.

“Drawing exhibition”, RPN North West (Art and Design)

I will be taking part in a drawing exhibition organised by the Regional Progression Network in Art and Design at the start of November. My scalpel drawing was created in response to the question “How can/does the artists practice respond, mirror or compare to the formal structure of an essay?”.
