Pleased to announce that I am featured in Escape Art Magazine’s latest online publication (Issue 3), “What Does it Mean to Be Free”. On pages 8 to 19, I discuss material choices, my conceptual approaches (with spotlights on a few pieces in particular) and muse over the idea of freedom, something I feel is incredibly apt given the current lockdown situation we find ourselves in.
Delighted to announce that I have been invited to share my work in ToCall magazine – a simple, monochrome mimeograph edition limited to 100 copies.
The magazine was initiated by Petra Sculze-Wollgast and is inspired by the last issue of Tlaloc which was published in 1970 and edited by Cavan McCarthy. Copies are available to purchase from Petra’s website here. Each issue features works by international authors, poets or artists focussed on a specific topic and is published under Plaugolt SatzWechsler (or PSW).
My latest book project “Tameidiau Ohona’i” has been featured in Eye magazine as part of their review on Steven Heller and Gail Anderson‘s latest Thames and Hudson publication “Typographic Universe“.
My piece “Emergence” has appeared in Bordeaux based magazine “En Revue” this month as part of an article by Art Web Radio.
Arch20 (an online magazine dedicated to architecture, art, fashion and design) has produced a piece about my most recent ongoing book project “Tameidiau Ohona’i”. The photographs include progress shots, sketchbook extracts and finished sections. Further images of this project and complimentary work can be viewed in my online sketchbook (available through Tumblr).
My work has been published in Fabrik Magazine (based in Los Angeles) as part of their feature on competition winners. You can find “Emergence” in issue 11.

My photo of “Lowson’s Textbook Erosion” has appeared in Grazia magazine this week as part of Lauren Laverne’s article on Comme Ca Art‘s exhibition at the Lowry Hotel.
Had some great news from Los Angeles today. My work has been selected as one of the winners! The exhibition will be at The Factory and I will have also been awarded an artist spotlight feature in Fabrik Magazine.
Little piece in the college magazine “Connect” about my solo exhibition at Trafford College library, Talbot Road. Works by other members of staff can be seen in the Creative Arts gallery space (Altrincham site).
