Thrilled to announce that I will be taking part in the twelfth edition of “Art of the Book” at Seager Gray Gallery in Mill Valley, California. Running from 2nd May until 31st May, the show will also include works from Jody Alexander, Islam Aly, Mary Ellen Bartley, Mary V. Marsh & Tony Bellaver, Kim Henigman Bruce, Valérie Buess, Tony Dagradi, Lawrence Foolscap Press, Casey Gardner, Ximena Perez Grobet, Andrew Hayes, Charles Hobson, Lisa Kokin, Emily Payne, Susan Porteous, Steph Rue, Catherine E. Skinner, Mike Stilkey, Vita Wells, Barbara Wildenboer and Nanette Wylde. My work has been featured recently in an interesting piece written by Robert Bolick titled “Bookmarking Book Art – On the Origin of Species“. This essay charts the influence that Darwin’s text has had on creative practitioners around the world (myself included).

This month Seager Gray present their 11th annual “Art of the Book” show; an exhibition of book related material including fine press, hand-made and altered books. Here you can see my work and pieces from Jody Alexander, Islam Aly, Alice Austin, Ken Botnick, Sarah Brown, Kim Henigman Bruce, Inge Bruggeman, Valérie Buess, Julie Chen, Marie Dern and Danielle Giudici Wallis, Alisa Golden, Andrew Hayes, Helen Hiebert, Meg Hitchcock, Charles Hobson, Lisa Kokin, Jacqueline Rush Lee, Suzanne Long, Sharon McCartney, Emily Payne, Maria Porges, Kazuko Watanabe, Beata Wehr and Barbara Wildenboer. The show runs from May 2nd – June 5th (with a reception for the participating artists on Saturday, May 14th, 5:30 – 7:30pm).
